Our first Sauvignon Blanc, from the Gamble Family Ranch in Yountville. This is all Preston Clone. The 2016 growing season was warm and uneventful, allowing the Sauvignon Blanc to be picked at optimal maturity. Fermented entirely in neutral French oak barrels, Classic aromas of gooseberry and lemon/lime zest. The palate is a perfect balance of citrusy fruit, lime, lemon and acid, along with hints of fennel and white pepper. Should last for several years, but we like it now. 100 cases.
